The mission of Pennypack Farm & Education Center (PFEC) extends well beyond operating a Community Supported Agriculture Farm (CSA); it fosters a broad sense of community and belonging. An investment in Pennypack Farm & Education Center (PFEC) is an investment in the future of children, our community and beyond.

Since we began 6 years ago, PFEC has been able to provide its investors with a positive return on their investment by continuing to expand their educational programs. Youth programs include our Little Sprouts Programs for children 2-8 and their parents, High School Community Service Learning teams, as well as hosting 1,100 summer campers on the farm from The College Settlement of Philadelphia and two YMCAs. These educational programs provide hands-on farming experience that highlight the connections between nutritional wholesome food, local farming, and sustainable agriculture.

Beyond education programs, low-income families have access to our food through subsidized family shares, a Philadelphia Farmers Market, and food donations to local community cupboards.

Your gift helps us continue to expand our educational programs and subsidy of low-income families through ensuring we have the staff, equipment and supplies necessary.
