A Chemical Reaction

March 8th, 2011 at the Ambler Theatre

The story of how one doctor in a small town in Canada convinced the town to ban chemical lawn pesticides. She warned her fellow citizens that the chemicals they were putting on their lawns posed severe health risks and had unknown side effects on the environment. The town was then sued by the chemical companies in a case that would reach the Canadian supreme court. If these products are banned in Canada why do we allow these chemicals to be sold here? Makes you stop and wonder. Who is watching the lawn? More information at www.pfzmedia.com
