Plant-based Cooking in August

Use an abundance of tomatoes without ever getting bored of them! August's plant-based cooking class will focus on using fresh, cool, tomatoes for hot-day appetizers, sides and mains- along with optimal ways to store your haul. Tomato-based dishes can take on a whole different flavor when paired with different herbs (think Mexican v. Italian v. Greek, etc) so we will use the herbs as a guide for this night's dishes, along with the other vegetables in season at the farm. 

 

 

Jennifer Dilorenzo is the custom cook/baker behind Jenny’s Plate, which offers meal-prep and catering, specializing in whole foods plant-based cooking as well as cooking for omnivores and decadent treats.
